Home Care Service
The Village Home Care Service is available whenever you need us, from 2 hours per day to 24 hours per day whatever your requirements. Weekend and evening cover is also available on request.
How it Works
A free consultation to discuss your requirements will be held at The Village Nursing Care Centre. This meeting will offer the opportunity to ask any questions about the services provided; the cost associated; any financial relief/assistance available; and the qualifications and locations covered by our home care team.
Following on from this meeting a care supervisor will be appointed to conduct a home visit. At this visit we will develop a care plan tailored to your specific requirements. On this visit you will be introduced to your new home carer.
What We Offer
Our Home Care team provides a variety of services, from companionship to personal hygiene, a summary of which are:
· Personal Hygiene
· Assistance walking, getting up and going to bed
· Meal Preparation and advance meal preparation
· Light housekeeping, pet care and errands
· Laundry Services
· Collection of Prescriptions

· Transport to Appointments & Religious Services
Related Services
The Village Care Centre is recognized nationally as one of the finest care centres in the country. A number of complementary services are available at the centre which can be utilized by Home Care clients. These services include:
· Day Care-A day care service operates at the Village Care Centre. This service is available for €45 per day and is an excellent opportunity for those living alone to socialize and participate in the daily activities programme. No commitment is required and collection and drop off hours are flexible to suit the clients requirements.
· Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy-The Village Care Centre benefits from an in house physiotherapy and occupational therapy department. Clients of the Home Care service can avail of free physiotherapy assessments and reduced price physiotherapy and OT treatments.
· Medical Holidays-Clients of the Home Care Service can stay at The Village Care Centre to recuperate after an operation or if a family member/care giver is unable to provide care due to holidays or illness.
